Hi, my name is Nicola Baume. I am a divorce coach and planner are relatively new concepts and many people are a little confused about what a divorce coach or planner actually does. Actually, a lot of divorce professionals are also a little confused.
There are divorce coaches who only work in the collaborative divorce arena, there are those that help only with the law and court and helping you save money, get through court and your legal woes. There are coaches for after the divorce to help you get on with your new life and there are those like me who deal in the before, during and after.
The one thing that divorce coaches have in common is they all play a support role for the person going through the divorce transition and believe with planning and goal setting the process of moving forward will be less painful. Coaching is for motivation and direction.
I choose to work with all aspects of divorce as I believe that the earlier you plan the easier the separation will be. Going through divorce seems to bring out everyone’s most vulnerable points and accentuate them which then makes decision making difficult.

One last thing is, and here I only can speak for myself. A divorce coach should save you money on legal fees as you will learn not run to your lawyer with every little argument. The coaching will teach you to handle these situations and not cost you $1,000 letters.

Pre Divorce Planning
This course is to plan a strategy out of your marriage or relationship which can save you and your family money and emotional stress. This 5 part course has been especially put together for those people still in a relationship who want assistance with the myriad of issues involved in ending a long term relationship.
The 5 part Pre Divorce Planning Program consists of a weekly consultation either in person, by phone or on skype. All worksheets will be emailed to the participant on a weekly basis.

Post Divorce Planning
This short course, Post Divorce Planning, has been designed to help with the next steps of your life after the divorce is finalized. Often the divorce process has impacted greatly onto every area of your life and the need to set new goals and action plans to create a satisfying and happy life can seem over whelming. This course has everything necessary to get you moving again.
The 4 part Post Divorce Planning Program consists of a weekly consultation either in person, by phone or on skype. All planning and goal setting worksheets will be emailed to the participant on a weekly basis.

The Divorce Program
This advanced divorce coaching program is designed for those who want to get through their divorce with ongoing support. This is our Premiere Divorce Coaching Service. The program looks at all the eight areas of life that will need some readjustment as a new single life begins. This program is not for the faint hearted but when the divorce proceedings come to an end there are will be positive goals and plans in place. This is an ongoing coaching program.
Cost: $2,800.00
Divorce Etiquette Workshops
One day workshop
Discover the correct way to behave during your divorce so that you do not feel overwhelmed in the different and often confronting situations you will find yourself in, including emotionally fueled interactions.
Topics covered in this highly useful course include:
• How to speak to your ex without ending up in the same heated arguments
• How to work with a divorce lawyer and behave in court
• What to say to people about your divorce, including colleagues, friends, in-laws and others.
These workshops are fun with role play and interactive exercises.
Cost: $350 per person
Service for Family Lawyers
As a family law specialist the most difficult situation is having an overly emotional client who is making the proceedings more difficult with unproductive behavior. Many clients ask more from their lawyer than you are trained or willing to give, let alone the waste of precious time dealing with issues that are not legal.
We have programs to suit all the emotional issues that you do not want to, including getting clients ready for court, communication skills.
Support Groups
Divorce groups are held for men and women separately. Whether you wanted the marriage to end or not there are certain issues that you will face in this period, going from married to single. These groups are for problem solving and sharing experiences from others going through the same situation who want to help and get help.
Having support from others who can share their own experiences and how they managed different concerns is a great comfort.
Groups will be facilitated and topics to be covered should be emailed within the week before the session.
Cost: $30 per session
Groups are ongoing. Groups will not be any larger than 15 participants.
